As FINBOURNE continues to expand within UK and internationally, we are looking for a talented and experienced Salesperson to support our strategic Business Development initiatives, through industry mapping, generating leads and engaging with prospective clients.

   

Key responsibilities

 

  • Defining and working on Sales enablement projects, often with close collaboration with Marketing and our Support team 
  • Increasing revenue and achieving sales growth by working towards agreed targets and objectives. 
  • Proactively engaging and establishing contact with new prospects that align with the customer profile and evaluating their needs to effectively promote our solution. 
  • Creating a pipeline of prospective sales activity that will allow the full sales process to continue successfully. 
  • Gaining a solid understanding, and ultimately becoming a SME, of our product functionality and service offering. 
  • Sales forecasting: creating weekly sales KPI reports for the SLT and Board via our CRM 
  • Analysis and researching potential new market entry opportunities and account movements e.g. M&As, newly launched funds, lead movements etc. 
  • Sales Documentation – ensuring that our Sales Intelligence Engine is regularly kept up to date with key lead movements and competitor activity.  
  • Outreach – setting a Customer Journey to reach out to potential leads and helping to build a pipeline of leads. 
  • Analysing any mutual connections across the business for intro opportunities into key accounts. 

 

About You

   

  • Previous business development experience, within Financial Services  or FinTech 
  • Demonstrable success in generating new business leads 
  • Experience working for a startup or scale-up would be advantageous   
  • Strong attention to detail    
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work toward deadlines   
  • A team player that has experience working within cross-functional teams   
  • Proficient user of MS Office suite, in particular, PowerPoint
